On Monday, July 13, 2020, the Duluth City Council voted unanimously to implement an emergency face covering ordinance, mandating patrons of indoor establishments to wear a face covering. The ordinance is effective immediately.
In an effort to create an easy transition and clear communication to your patrons, the Duluth Area Chamber has created downloadable flyers and posters that encourage your guests to be safe through wearing a mask. Simply download the poster and print to hang on your business window or door. Choose from a variety of designs and sizes:

The ordinance requires anyone over the age of 10 to wear a face covering in all public-facing businesses and common areas of buildings. Exemptions to the mandate include private buildings not open to the public, guests of food/beverage establishments, schools, child care facilities, and those unable to wear masks due to medical conditions.
