Stream the 2021 Local Candidate Forums

The Duluth Area Chamber and the Duluth News Tribune have organized a timely opportunity to meet the candidates running for local office this election season. The 2021 Candidate Forums were held this September, and are now available to you to stream online.

The Chamber and the Duluth News Tribune have co-hosted candidate forums for 11 years, as part of a commitment to helping eligible voters make informed and educated decisions. Chamber President Matt Baumgartner and Duluth News Tribune Editorial Page Editor Chuck Frederick moderated four discussions with candidates running for local office in 2021, directing informative questions to each candidate. These forums have been “civility certified,” with the participation of Speak Your Peace: The Civility Project, an effort launched in 2003 by the Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation.

Election Day this year is November 2nd. Participating in these high-profile forums is an important step in being elected to represent local constituents. We thank the candidates for participating, individuals in attendance, and those viewing on-demand.
